From Pet Rescue North, Jacksonville Florida..."Please network and tell everyone about this sweet boy who in 26 days will be loosing his home. His family is moving to an apartment. He has been the wife's baby and now she must part with him as per the husband. The following is the discription the husband wrote up. You can call 904 477-1000 for the contact number of the family so anyone interested can meet Barney.Even if you know someone who will foster PRN will continue to try to find him his forever home.He is such a pretty boy.

Barney is a 5 year old neutered male, part Irish Setter and part Cocker Spaniel adopted from the North Florida Humane Society in Putnam County Florida. He is approx 40 # and 20-24" tall at the shoulders. Barney tested mildly positive for heartworms, but has been under treatment since we adopted him and is on Heartguard Plus and Comforti, for flea and tick control. Barney is very shy and timid although when he becomes familiar with people he is loving and loyal. It is my opinion whomever had him before we adopted him may have been abusive because he is generally afraid of men. He loves to play with toys in the yard and to play interactive games ., ."
